Following on from the Save The Mere campaign in 2011 an application has been made to register sea wall and green in Mill Lane Walton as a town or village green.
A public inquiry will be held at the Columbine, with provisional dates of 6-8 November.
If you have ever used the green or sea wall and would like to support this application please write a witness statement following the guidance notes and send the completed statement to either Beth Hatwell and Di Humphreys.
Di and Beth need your statements back as quickly as possible as they have to deliver all our documents to the council at the beginning of October 2012
